We have all been in the position of hearing acronyms or specific language to a certain industry we are unfamiliar with, and if you recall, you felt somewhat inadequate, or out of your surroundings.
Years ago when I started in advertising for a fast food chain (think billions and billions sold), I was bombarded with acronyms for menu items like QPC (Quarter Pounder with Cheese), SEM (Sausage Egg McMuffin) - you get my point: I had to learn a whole new language. Since it was my career, a learning curve is/was understandable.
Have you taught your buyers and sellers how to speak "Real Estate", or are you confusing them with industry lingo such as:
- Ad Valorem
- Cloud on Title
- Easement
- Latent Defect
