Sawgrass subdivision, Fishers IndianaSawgrass in Fishers Indiana is an excellent example of why the city continues to receive accolades as one of the best and most affordable places to live in the country. Sawgrass is one of Fishers’ prettiest and, happily, most affordable neighborhoods! The Fishers Indiana subdivision of Sawgrass comprises 240 homes built between 1996 and 2000, and is part of the Legends of Geist community which includes four neighborhoods, each named after legendary golf courses.

The beautiful family homes of Sawgrass are surrounded by the equally beautiful Ironwood Golf Club. Sawgrass homes have lower levels, with an average of 2500 finished square feet. Many also have golf course views! Sawgrass homes are priced from the mid to high 200s, and usually don’t linger on the market. Five of the seven Sawgrass homes sold in the past 6 months spent less than 21 days on the market! The quickest sale was made in just 9 days! Sawgrass amenities include neighborhood parks, a community pool and an active homeowners association.

Location: Hoosier Road south of 116th Street
Average sales price (past 6 months): $249,571
Average days on the market: 52
Average year built: 1998

Pat  Sawgrass in Fishers sounds like the typical "this is the real America" subdivision.  Our fastest moving detached homes here in Northern Virginia are those in the 2,500 square foot range

Tom--Happy Holidays to you and your family too!!

Charles--I do love the area in which I live.  A bit cold right now, but that just makes us really appreciate the spring!

Joan--All true, but still tough to compete with Denver.  I am still reeling over your skiing and then coming down the mountains to 60 degree weather!!

Karen-- You hit the nail on the head!  And yes, I think 2,500 is a good size for a family of four.

Debra--You are very observant.  I think you and I are experiencing similar weather right now!!
