There is often a lot of confusion with various boundaries in Los Angeles and particularly in the San Fernando Valley. This next series of blogs will help define the boundaries of various neighborhoods.

Mills Realty has provided this interactive map, based on the official City Council maps, for your convenience. Buyer and Seller are advised to check the official LA City Council maps to determine the actual boundaries of the various communities.

Northridge Dweller

I believe the boundaries of Northridge changed in late 2012/early 2013. LA CIty Street signage indicates Northridge now includes the area between Woodley & Havenhurst, Between Lassen and Plummer. You can confirm this by taking a drive by the north on Woodley or Havenhurst from Plummer toward lassen, or Driving west on Plummer or Lassen past Woodley.

Banners along Woodley Hill (Woodley just north of Plummer) that read "North Hills West" disappeared shortly after the official Northridge signs appeared there.

Northridge Dweller...This series of posts was put out in 2010 from information provided by the Southland Regional Association of Realtors. It is possible and likely that overtime borders can and will change. Thanks for alerting future readers.
