WOW! This new complex is going to be an amazing asset for Round Rock. The city and the YMCA have partnered to build an indoor, competitive aquatic center. Construction for the 14,025 sq. ft. facility will begin next month and they expect to have it complete by September of 2008. The $6 million facility will feature an eight-lane, 25-yard heated competitive swimming pool, a lazy river, splash and spray toys and a zero-entry splashpad, a hot tub, family dressing rooms and restrooms, a whirlpool, and a slide. It is only the third indoor, competitive swim facility in the Austin area.
