The First Meeting is an Event-- Make it Count!

By
Real Estate Agent with ACME Real Estate

Yesterday, the day after a very busy Christmas, I was meeting with a buyer client for the first time to go out and tour property. To my surprise and delight, upon going to pick her up, I was greeted with a glass of champagne! What a fantastic way to start the tour!

Sometimes we lose sight of the event of meeting to tour--it is a bit like a first date, isn't it? We have to remember to keep it special. Take time to talk, discuss our decision making and guidance processes, and get solid footing before starting the tour.Champagne

We're really lucky in our business to get to know our clients personally, to establish relationships that can last for years, and make friends of clients. Buying a home is a very personal process for many people, and I'm honored to be of service.

My New Year's Resolution this year is to make each meeting count--to really appreciate and enjoy each of my clients, and treat each outing as an event.

Cheers, Success, and Joy in 2011!

Wow! I wish I had a few clients like that too! I agree that you need to make touring an exciting/special experience. It's neat that they took the initiative to make it an "event".

I love it!!!   It is a huge event for many.....think of how many of your clients don't sleep the night before writing an offer or the day before closing!   This is a wonderful idea!
