ActiveRain now has its own glocalist who is about to venture off to sea for next 104 days with Semester at Sea Global Interdependence: Thinking Globally Acting Locally.

Cosmic Cow Pie The Rome Way!   I love the name Cosmic Cow Pie and I love chocolate so take a look at these chocolate coated cow pies otherwise known as Baltimore’s Berger Cookies. I have used them at my Open House Gatherings!

The founder of Cosmic Cow Pie, whose name is Carra, is about to begin the trip of a lifetime.

Carra Riley is sailing around the world with Semester At Sea and I will be managing Cosmic Cow Pie The Rome Way. Carra will be traveling with a group of over 600 college students preparing for her new book “Cosmic Cow Pie…Connecting the Dots Around The World. Carra will be taking localism global and has coined a new word “ GLOCAL” ( I better send this to the Word Group).

Mary,

I'm jealous of Carra, what a great opportunity a semester at sea. I'm also jealous because I coined the world glocal about 12 years ago, to explain my theory that local actions could have global ramifications to my husband who only believed that grand gestures count. I think that is an example of not trusting in my "rarity" I should have been proclaiming my word to the world instead of just sitting by. Oh well, lesson learned. Good ideas don't exist in a vacuum anyway.

I am from Pittsburgh, My husband is from Pleasant hills, Go Steelers. It was so boring because everything the Browns did was wrong. I finally cheered when the Browns scored.

Alright!!! Last year my husband & I were in San Diego on vacation while the Steelers were playing the Chargers. I went to the restroom in local restaurant & someone at the bar comment she must be a Steelers' fan. Guess our northern roots never leave us or vice versa.

Today's game was not broadcast in our area, but it didn't matter to me as I took my grandsons to Chuck E. Cheese. More exciting I am sure.
