OK. It's actually January 2nd but even though I wanted send out out New Year wishes to everyone for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year! I'd like to also say thank you to everyone who visited and commented on my blog in 2010.
2010 was a really interesting one to be sure. There was a lot of uncertainty in the beginning of the year, and while the economy is still in recovery mode, we can pretty much say the bottom did not fall out in 2008, as it did in late 2008 and early 2009. Housing bounced along and prices moderated and many can be thankful for that. As we set our sights on the new year before us I think that many hope for a solidifcation and stabilization of real estate equity to put the nation on a long term track for expansion and growth. A drop in the unemployment rate would also be a welcome change and further catalyst for recovery.
2010 was a decent year for me and I'm thankful to all the people who used my services and who continue to put their trust in me to assist them in their quest to either buy or sell real estate in the Des Moines area. We've seen a lot of change in the real estate industry in the past year and while many have left the profession to pursue other careers I'm happy to say that I'm still here to serve the interests of my past clients and the public at large. I look forward this year to my third license renewal, continuing education and peronal development and new venues and tools to better serve both sellers and buyers of residential real estate in the greater Des Moines region.
Thanks again to all and my best to you for the New Year 2011 and beyond!
