9" of rain in Honolulu, Hawaii this week

There was 9 inches of rain this week in Honolulu, Hawaii. Even the Sony Open Golf Tournament was delayed. There were roads closed and even houses and apratments flooded.

This has been almost a record year for rain in Honolulu, Hawaii. There have been several big storms and we still have a few winter months to go.

The good news is that we have lots of rainbows. Also, when the rain stops, the flowers are more beautiful than ever. The tress and plants grow and are lush and fresh.

We need rain in Honolulu, Hawaii, but the sun is better to me.

Seriously, 9 inches of RAIN in a week?  I think that's more moisture we get in a year!  Even 2 feet of snow only contains about 1/2 an inch of moisture.  9 inches?!  Now that's wet!

Serious rain accumulation..... I guess all the volcanic rock helps the water to "run-off" and out to sea... no serious mudslides?   Watching the news with treacherous floods in Brazil, Queensland Austrailia...... devastating!  Hope you get a dry spell to dry out!
