I would rather stay positive and get 50% results, than be negative and get 100%

I would rather stay positive and get 50% results, than be negative and get 100%.   Is that a cool thought or what?  I read this in Joyce Meyer's newest book "Power Thoughts"-- there's nothing really new about the power of positive thinking, it's just that we need to keep on doing it, over and over again. Kind of like brushing your teeth-- it's an ongoing yet crucial task...and so totally worth it!

Thinking powerfully and positively is a daily, hourly, constant effort. There's always something lurking in our thoughts, or vying for our attention-- thoughts and things which aren't healthy and happy. Just think of what so many people watch for entertainment, and what the news industry spews out,  it's no wonder that it's a constant battle to stay positive.

So how are you programming yourself to succeed in this awesome new year? We humans are a lot like our computers--GIGO-- garbage in= garbage out. Or like your car, if you don't buy good gas, it dies on you.  I know that for me, whatever I ingest really makes a difference. My kids laugh at me, but whenever I eat fish, I feel really smart.  Working out really gets me re-energized, too.

I sincerely hope that 2011 is your best year ever!

I am a firm believer in positive attitude. I agree with you that getting 50% with positiveness is better than 100% with negativity- although it has been my experience that you tend to get more results with the positive attitudes.

Keeping postive is the only way to go.  In my experience, being negative never produces anything positive.  Good luck to you.

This is a good attitude.  They say aim low and you will hit your target all the time.  I would rather aim high and miss some.
