Write it Down- to increase business

I have had more than one go thru with Weight Watchers and the difference between immediate success and slower success is: "Write it down".  When I did my tracking (Weight Watcher code for writing it down) I was always successful.

The same goes for marketing. As a broker and a person who has to generate business I can tell you that you will do more business if you begin to write down your daily marketing activities. I used to write everything down on a yellow pad and just recently stated tracking on computer. My way is not as sophisticated as some of the programs I have seen. All I do is send myself an email. I leave the email open and downsize it on the computer. Every time I do another marketing activity I enter it and then print the email out at the end of the day. I know I could save it but i still like paper and I review it. I keep the print outs and review them occasionally. It is amazing that I can actually see the cause effect relationship between my business and the type and volume of marketing that I am doing.

I record emails, phone calls, mail, belly to belly, attending meetings; everything. I write everything down. I started Mortgage Magic in April of 1990 and I personally have had loan fundings every month since I started being a loan broker; that is 249 months and my average is just over 8 loans a month (personal - not company) These are not Super Star numbers but they are respectable. So my advice is ...

Write it down.

Great advice writing down something means you can always see the results I just have to remember to write it down.
