Blizzard WARNING in the St Louis MO Metro Area and OFallon MO?

NO, I am not clowning around there is a prediction of 10" to 15" of the white stuff for the St. Louis MO Metro Area.  ThatClown includes St Charles County MO and my hometown of OFallon MO.

I would expect to hear the word BLIZZARD if I was in, let's say, Green Bay or Chicago or North Branch MN or even Alaska.  But NOT OFallon MO come on give me a break.

Did I mention that the 10" to 15" could be more if we are in a THUNDER SNOW area?  The 10" to 15" snowfall is with the sleet and ice that is already on the ground.

Oh well, as long as the power stays on I will be able to stay on track with my goals and work from home.  There is always something to do.  Things like improving my website, getting a couple of blog posts written or even read a good book and relax.

Yes it is ok to RELAX as long as you are not in that mode all day and it is better than getting out and shoveling the snow.  That will come soon enough.

BTW, if your car is parked on the street in OFallon MO please move it so the snow plows can clear our streets and make them safe for everyone.

Good Morning Don.  Here in Kansas City the snow is starting to cover the ice from yesterday.  When the snow is falling "sideways" do you still call it "snow fall"?

Stay warm and dry this morning!

My goodness, I can't believe all the snow!  Stay warm and safe!  I think we're just going to get a bunch of rain and cooler temps.

Good morning Rob,

I am not sure that when the snow is going "sideways" could be looked at as "falling".  I take it the wind is blowing pretty good.

From the sounds of it you need to stay inside today too.

Good morning Ann,

We can't believe it either.  This is the 4th big storm so far this winter and it is billed a the record setting storm.  Time will tell.

Hi Don - What a terrible winter.  Through 1/31/11 we have had over 55" of snow.  50" is typical for the year.  UGH!

William,

Trust me I would let you have all of it if I could.  I am thinking that you will have to take that up with Mother Nature.

Conrad,

That is aabout 60" too much for me.  Would you like some more?
