Read Mark: 9:14-29

But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us."
Jesus said to him,
"‘If you can!' Everything is possible to one who has faith."
Then the boy's father cried out, "I do believe, help my unbelief!"

Lord,  I am in awe of your majesty, your power, and your holiness. Most of all, I am in awe of your love. Let that love empower me to please you in all my thoughts, words, and actions. I do believe Lord!

Charles, it really bothers me  to hear a prayer that includes "Lord if you can heal the person".

Yes ladies starting our day with scripture provides us with a shield.  Thanks for your comments.

Mike, when anyone prays "Lord if you can..." we know that are lacking full faith.  We must pray with and for them.
