Thanks Alexandra - I wasn't thrilled to get to take more photos of ice - and now it is snowing!! - but I guess til spring gets here I will just enjoy the beauty.

I don't know what possessed you to take this picture, but it is really beautiful!  I don't think I would have even noticed.

There's great detail in that picture, Nancy!  I love the clarity of the pebbles, and even a leaf or so included.

Hi Chris - my dog was actually not very happy that a larger puddle was also frozen - it's her favorite "drinking hole".

Not sure either Sharon - I was doing my usual morning walk down our driveway with our dog & kind of grumbling to myself that I want spring to get here - & instead we had ice.  Then noticed that it actually was kind of pretty ice - so ran back for my camera.  LOL

Thanks Myrl - & the funny thing is that once I took the photo, I noticed the pebbles and ice patterns together were just kind of intriguing.  I think sometimes my camera forces me to see things in a different way than I otherwise would.  (And I even stopped grumbling that spring isn't here yet!)

Hard to compete with the beauty of Mother Nature- so simple but almost impossible to duplicate by humans.

Hi Nancy, I just had an idea you were a photographer. Nice to meet you! You could isolate the ice and literally create a piece of art work. Wonderful capture.

You said it Tommy!  Mother Nature is an artist extraordinaire!!

Thanks William - & I never really considered myself a photographer - but I do really love to take pictures - especially the beauty of nature or of my granddaughter!!

Thanks Lisa - I do too!  Though often it is impossible (for me at least) to fully capture it with my camera.
