Painesville was settled ca. 1800 and incorporated as a city in 1832. Numerous examples of historic architecture are found throughout the city. Painesville is located about 30 miles from Cleveland, 2.5 miles from Lake Erie, and about 20 minutes from several prize-winning wineries. The city was accepted into the Ohio Main Street Program, a grassroots group organized to implement historic preservation and economic development in traditional downtowns. Painesville is also proud of its new state-of-the-schools.

Hope to have some better weather here so we can start doing open houses... too rainy and cold.  Good luck.

Christine, I think all the snow should be long gone by the time your hold your open house.  It really sounds like a great home.  Painesville is such a great city, and I just LOVE the downtown area.  To me, downtown Painesville looks just like a downtown area should look like.

By the way... what is the address of your open house ?  Perhaps Carolyn or Christine P may have a buyer for it.

By the way... I am thinking of starting an Active Rain Group called Northern Ohio Active Rainers who went Crazy and Moved to Texas.  Whaddya think ?
