With apologies to my friend Missy Caulk...

I've been browsing blogs on Active Rain and Facebook this evening, and I came across more than one post regarding an unlikely lawsuit involving the use of the Zebra as a trademark.

Inna Hardison's post on the subject got me to thinking of my most recent run-in with a Zebra. It was at the Denver Zoo last December on a visit with two of my favorite grand daughters. (We have seven scattered around the country, and every one knows that she's Grandpa Oso's favorite.)

I like the Denver Zoo's bathroom decor. Don't you? If your local zoo has something similar, please post a photo.

The Zebra wasn't my favorite, though. I'm waiting for someone to pick up on this Rhino Brand. Oh, wait! That's the wrong end.

We don't have a zoo here in Medford, Oregon. There is a Wildlife Images, I guess that is kinda like a zoo. They don't have any Zebras though. Just Lions, Tigers and Bears... oh my.

This Zebra lawsuit is bizarre. I do not know all the details from both sides, but I have a hard time figuring out why a person who makes her living off of realtors would think that suing one would ever help her business.

Great image! And if anyone wants a Zebra on their bathroom door, Amazon has Zebra posters from 99 cents & up. :-) As I said over on FB, the silver lining to all this controversary may be that people selling Zebra-themed stuff will see an uptick in their business..... :-)
