It’s an “amazing” thing.

I’m starting this one out different than what I normally do.  The meaning of (a maz’ ing) to fill with great surprise.  Now that I have got that out of the way here we go.  My wife brought it to my attention and then I started paying attention.  When you’re watching your television start counting the times you here “amazing”.  It’s the new catch word and it’s “”amazing”” how many times you’ll hear it in a day.  Now this is one “amazing” post..

Good morning, James. Sadly, this word is almost as overworked as awesome! IMHO, folks need to expand their vocabulary...

Funny how words become "catch" words and then are used to describe anything. Your posts are educational and entertaining.

James "AMAZING" There is a TV show called The Bachelor and my wife and I years ago started watching it and the most used word was amazing. It was used so much we stopped watching the show because everyone was so amazing. Amazing post. Thanks

I'm not too fond of Amazing but I am an "awesome" kind of guy. I have tried to focus on my vocabulary in a given day and I do use awesome quite a bit. I also tend to over use "fantastic" quite a bit. "How's Tuesday for our appointment? Fantastic!" Guess I need to pay closer attention. :)

Actually James that has been an overused word for YEARS.  You're pretty darned lucky if you're just noticing it.  Now you've got to tire of it over years like the rest of us.  Have a great day James.
