Spring shows up in just two days. No more excuse for the big baggy sweater. This must mean it’s time to take off those extra pounds I packed on while hibernating over the winter!
I can’t believe I’m posting this for the entire world to see, but the scales read 165.2 this morning. I am 51 years old and 5’3” tall. When my awesome husband and I got married almost 11 years ago I weighed in at 132 pounds. While I would LOVE to get back down to 132 I will be totally happy with anything below 140.
So, here I am, setting a goal to lose 26 pounds
(puts me just under 140) and shouting it in the RAIN!!
I got BACK on the treadmill this morning for 30 minutes - ran 1 mile and walked the rest. Fat Gram counter said I burned off a little over 50 fat grams during that time.
I bought lots of fresh fruits and vege’s while at the grocery store yesterday. Breakfast was a home-made protein smoothie with frozen strawberries, 2% milk and protein powder. My metabolism is very slow so I’m trying a combo of vitamin B-12 and Ginseng to increase it. Helps keep the hunger pains at bay.
