Facebook clipart Last week Emily Read came up with a great idea called Facebook Fridays. She explained that she wanted to start a new tradition on Active Rain. Here is her description:

"What does it mean? It means that not only do we support each other on ActiveRain - but each Friday we take the time to visit 5 Rainmaker's Facebook pages - giving them a big thumbs up!"

I love the idea and want to help with a few rainmaker's Facebook profiles:

Hi Gary - I just wanted to clear up your comment in regards to Kim's comment. There are two ways to 'like' a page... one being if you are visiting their page via your personal site - the other being if you are visiting your page via your Fan page (a fairly new option...you'll see when you're in your facebook fan page - on the right hand side - there's an option to "Use Facebook as..."). IF you are visiting via your personal page and you hit the like button - you will be added to the list of fans. IF you are visiting it via your Fan Page - this Fan page that you just liked will be featured on YOUR Fan Page as one of your Likes - but not count as a like on THEIR page... I hope that made sense... I know it's a little confusing...

Gary this is a great idea! I love it. I'm in another group (outside of AR) that I'm learning a lot from and have figured a few more things out...with a long way to go. So here's my question - how about if we all have our facebook links on our post so we can 'like them'. Personally I'm working on getting my business page going to a differenet level - and backing down on the personal page (way to may friends there). Any ideas?
