I am in the market for virus and malware testing Software.
- I have AVG software installed on a couple of computers. I have a version that is slightly out of date. It nagged me incessantly about upgrading or renewing as my subscription ran out. It also returned "false positives" when I did not think it shoud.
- I also have a computer with McAfee Security Scan Plus.
I don't like either of these products because of the way they consume so much resource while they run.
I do not want my life and my compute power to be centered around checking for viruses and malware. I have lots of other things to do and do now want to spend a lot of my own time and energy on this topic.
I don't like my choices. Anyone have any more ideas.
