How Can I Help?

Mary, I think I just had one of those days... I didn't even notice I didn't eat for lunch until I heard some grumblings coming from my stomach while talking to a customer and then later during dinner... of course!... the phone rang!

Mary - OY VEY!!! Can we talk?  Seems like I have days like that every week.  Some days, it's as if I'm saying, "Hi I'm your friendly, hard-working MLO, how crazy should I let you drive me today?"  LOL

Mary, don't I know it.  What a wonderful way to express an upside down day.  Only you, Mary, only you could do such a great job on it.  I am so glad to see that others have the same kind of days with the same kind of problems and frustrations.  It's so great to have people here that can all relate.

I have 7 Mondays last week.  I'm trying to do better this week.  Of course my husband told me he picked up a 12 hour overtime shift tomorrow so I'm likely work until dark thity again tomorrow solving problems too.

Funny post Mary! I liked the part when you said "Maybe your family would enjoy talking to you, too.". How often do we forget our families. Thanks for the reminders.

Mary, Although I haven't been in the business a long time, I can relate. Prioritization, focusing on the moment and doing it right the first time are all key to being able to sleep well at night. Great post and very timely. 

Once again good advice from the teacher Mary! A good dinner with family with a few laughs puts a whole new perspective on things and helps brain storming the issues too!

What a great post!! Many of us feel just the same way daily.  I have gotten to the point where the phone is muted during the dinner hour and generally I don't feel the need to answer the few calls I may get during that time.  We all need to take more time for ourselves.  If we are constantly frazzled we will be of no help to others. 

Hi Mary -- Some wise and sage advice in there. I never let my meals be interrupted, never.  Same with family time.  While I bend over backwards for clients, I draw a line.

There's an old saying: A lack of planning on your part does not constitute a crisis on mine!

Mary - thankfully there are 2 of us so when one is too busy hopefully the other can... that's just our own way but hey it works.... But we surely all have had one of those days when we get those wonderfully annoying calls just when we were settling down for the evening.... Great post Mary Congrats on the feature.... Your posts get better everyday!

Mary, it's terrific to not only see you having fun in the rain, but also to invite everyone else to the fun by writing this blog post! Setting priorities was one of the best things I did after a couple of years doing real estate...and I think it's the reason I'm still in the business today. :)

Guess I am really behind today, read your post, went back to hit suggest and saw you were already featured.  Congratulations.  And yes, I have had those days, sometimes the list is just toooooo long.
