Pictures from the Bridal Expo 2011 - Scott Club

Since I blogged about the Scott Air Force Base Bridal Expo I thought it fitting to attend, and post some pictures from this event. The weather turned a bit chilly and overcast today, but the trees by the club are blooming.

Yolanda I liked the cakes and other thingy's. You know me always thinking of my stomach and food. I bet it was a nice event. The tree blossoms are nice, what are they? Maybe cherry or apple? Let me know.

Hi, Carl!

The tree is Bradford pear--it doesn't produce pears but the blooms are beautiful. It is a native, fast growing tree and has waxy, shiny, rounded leaves. The only drawback to having it is that it's not very strong so the branches break easily, & loses its rounded shape. You end up cutting it all down when it's a bad break, especially if its planted on the front yard.

You would have enjoyed the buffett! LOL Thanks for the visit!
