Showing in the Rain

By

Rain, rain, go away! Sacramento has seen so much rain, streets are flooding and there is water in places that don't usual have water. But, wait. It turned out to be the perfect day to look at houses.

The rain kept coming and the wind was blowing. However, I showed seven houses today. It was great, why? The answer was simple. The buyer is able to see if the house has any leaks. Also, you can see where the low spots are on the property. In fact, we walked into this one home and saw the backyard with more and more puddles as we got further back into the quarter acre property. The buyer determined that the property needed a lot of drainage work with a slope.

We saw another home with a full basement; something a little different in Sacramento. Great 1920 home, but noticed that the basement had water leaking inside. We couldn't even open the door, there was a pool of water sitting on the cement.

All in all, by the last home, the rain FINALLY let up and we saw something people in Sacramento haven't seen in days, sun. The last home could be the winner of the day.
