I have always heard that you could not list your own short sale because you would be profiting from the sale as the listing agent. Any Realtor I know that have had a short sale has had their Broker list it.

Selling Florida one home at a time

Thanks guys.

To help answer the question I did short sales on 2 of my properties last year. I was the owner and the listing broker. They were both approved with no issues. They were both with BofA and were Fannie Mae loans. I did not recive acommission but the selling broker did.

So.....yes you can. You just can't get paid. You are the owner of the property and can list with anybody you want.....including yourself.
