Conservation & Landscaping

As Edmontonians, we are proud of our extensive park system and our role in caring for the environment. We are continually looking at ways to improve the way we green our city and conserve our parkland.

This involves designing lower maintenance landscapes and using cultural practices to reduce pesticide usage and conserve water. We also strive to protect our beautiful urban forest for future generations by monitoring for invasive pests and reducing environmental stresses.

We support many projects that make our parks, public spaces, and communities more beautiful. They contribute to making Edmonton a beautiful place to live and visit.
