SHALLOTTE LIONS PLAN FIRST EVER CAR SHOW FUNDRAISER

Cruzin' to the Coast Car show sponsored by the Shallotte Lions Club is scheduled for April 23 at Planet Fun. The event begins at 9am in the parking lot. There will be craft vendors, children's fun activities that will take place indoors and outdoors, food, door prizes, raffles and awards.

This fundraiser will help to defray the cost of eye exams and eyeglasses for the seeing impaired in the community.

Shallotte Lions Club has been together for more than 64 years with its motto being to improve the community as well as the individual. The Shallotte Lions focus much of its interest on youth projects.

I love going to these old car shows, not only because you get to see some amazing cars, but you also get to meet some amazing people each with their own story about their car. I own a 1951 Chevy and each car is a story. (Just ask and you will talk to any car owner for 30-45 minutes)
