While Colorado is an open enrollment state, the opportunity to enroll children at any public school only exists if there is room. Some schools are at or near capacity, and living within the school's geographic boundaries can sometimes be the only or best way to be certain of enrollment. Additionally, if you do not live within the school boundaries, school bus will not be a transportation option for you.
