The news tonight is good for Florida homeowners: State Farm insurance has agreed to rebate $23 million to Florida homeowners on their policies and to reduce rates totaling another $23 million!
In addition to this, State Farm will no longer look at what other forms of insurance policyholders have with them before deciding on rates and cancellations! This is part of the settlement between State Farm and the Florida State Insurance Regulators and the Office of The Attorney General.
Some 50,000 policy-owners living along the coastline will still be canceled, but these cancellations are no longer tied to whether or not the policyholder also has State Farm Auto Insurance!
This is great news for Floridians!!!
