Key Largo.... Gateway to the Keys Island Chain. As you crest Jewfish Creek Bridge heading South on the Overseas Highway, roll down your windows and breath in that glorious island air! 65 feet above the water you can survey Key Largo, in all its splendor. To the South, within view, are the neighborhoods of Sexton Cove and Stillwright Point, and even The Caribbean Club, where the famous Bogart Movie "Key Largo" was fillmed, fronting picturesque Blackwater Sound. Key Largo is the longest of the Keys, at 27 miles long with tony, Ocean Reef Club to the North and Tavernier to the South, and is often incorrectly identified as the northernmost key, though that distinction goes to tiny Soldier Key in Biscayne Bay.
