He is risen!
I would like to personally wish you and yours a most joyous remainder of your day, as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. What a blessing we've been given. My thoughts run many routes, but all terminate at the same destination- thanks for the Lord and His return.
One of my favorite verses of Scriptures is Psalm 91. It is used as comfort to many a soldier and sailor, in that "he that dwelleth in the place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty"
Another of my favorites, Mark 1:17offers both comfort and instruction- "And He said unto them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men".
I pray I can even approach holding true to this, and that both this blog and (more importantly) my daily life will allow me to be a fisher of men for the Lord.
I'm proud to say that a friend of my family is Mark Hall. He is the lead singer of a contemporary Christian group called Casting Crowns. I'm equally proud that they currently sit at #1 on the charts with their song "Glorious Day"- which's chorus includes the verses "Rising He justified, freely forever, one day He's coming".
But I'm most proud of, humbled by and thankful for the anticipation of that glorious day.
May God bless you and yours today and every day.
May God Bless you mightily for sharing His words of Love and Eternal Truth. He is Faithful and His Love is enduring Forever. May we all become fishers of men in our daily life! The fish are jumping and biting. May God make them ever more hungry as each day passes. Lord, help us to fish on the right side of the boat.
Everyday is a great day to go fishing!
Rejoicing Always in Christ,
Paul
Hi Dennis, Thank you for sharing this inspirational post. Hope you and your family have enjoyed a blessed Easter, too.
Hi, Paul: Thank you for comment and spot-on wishes. As I believe it's always been, fish are everywhere and indeed willing to bite. Often, the problem is that those with the bait are afraid to use it. I just pray that I won't leave anything collecting dust in a box.
Hi, Gary: Thank you for your kind words. Best wishes to you and yours, as well. God bless.
