Being On The Receiving End Of A Good Deed Is Nice!

We recently closed on a listing which had been vacant for months, maybe even years. The yard was a mess.

I wanted to have the grass cut and the lawn cleaned up for the new owner, but I had a budget and wasn't sure that I could get very much done with what I intended to spend.  I told the owner of the lawn maintenance company the max that I wanted to spend.

He called me after doing the work and said that what I wanted to spend was too much, that he would only charge me a portion of the amount.  

How often do we hear that 'you don't owe me as much as you thought you did.'  What a cool surprise!

By the way, he did an excellent job on the yard. I am going to email his mom that she should be proud of him.
