PURDUE UNIVERSITY ENGINEERING FOUNTAIN
Bruce, this is a very unusual fountain. I love it! Purdue has some very interesting art on its campus.
Chris, the Purdue Engineering Mall and Fountain is a great place to relax, sunbathe, study, or just find a spot in the cool shade and hang out between classes! You would love it here!
Elizabeth, I am going to do at least one picture of the Purdue campus per week as there are so many neat buildings and landmarks. (although not as dramatic as D.C.!!!) ^_~
Sharon and Bruce,
Purdue is known for its engineering so this is a fitting shot. :)
Steve
Steve, you know Purdue quite well then! Lots of astronauts! Purdue has world class schools of engineering!
Sharon and Bruce, I'm really enjoying looking at the the photos you're posting in your Purdue University landmarks series! :)
Steve: Thanks for the feature, and you are no doubt a Purdue Alumnus or have an honorary degreee from Purdue University!
Leilani: I am so glad you are enjoying the tour of Purdue University, Leilani!
Sharon and Bruce---Are students allowed in the fountain? It looks as if that is actually what is intended---to walk through the mist. Now that would be cooling!
Pat, I see them all the time! There is a fountain off the Memorial Mall by what used to be called the Home Economics building and kids and parents love to take their children there to cool off!
