The annual Evergreen Cemetery Benevolent Society Memorial Day Commemoration begins at 9am and runs through 1pm on Monday, May 30th.  This year they will be unveiling the Historical Marker project which spotlights 10 markers throughout the cemetery telling the stories of people, events, and related facts to those buried within the cemetery. At the end of every month there will be 10 new stories.

They will also be joined by the 10th US Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers.

Territory Days is definitely a great time for the whole family!  An old friend of mine runs a cotton candy concession, so the kids always loved going to visit.  Thanks for putting this together, favorite friend.
