Happy Father's Day - to All the Dads in Our Lives Happy Fathers Day

My Dad has been gone over 30 years by now. He was one of the warmest, most caring people I ever knew and I find myself missing him still.

Whether we realize it or not, our parents shape our lives and form us into the people we are today. I only wish that I can be even half the example to emulate that my Dad was for me and that my children come away with the same values that he passed on to me.

If you're lucky enough to still have a Dad, enjoy your day with him and let him know how much he's loved and appreciated.

And, for all the Dad's out there, Have a very Happy Father's Day and enjoy your special time with your family.

Leah, my Dad died in 2000 and is truly missed. I miss his great smile and humor....We never stop missing our parents, but luckily we have great memories of them.

Hi Leah, My Dad has been gone now since 1975, but I always reflect back and remember all the great things he did for his family. Memories are nice to share with our children and grandchildren. Thanks for sharing such a lovely post on Father's Day.

Jerry, you've been fatherless even longer than I have. My memories are all that I have to share with my children. Most of them were born after my father died. I'm lucky enough to still have my Mom with us and she's a large part of my kids and grandkids lives.
