I am looking to spend a little money where should I spend it?

I know this is kind of like asking where should I eat?  I was looking at a few different lead sources.  One is Number1Expert, HouseValues, Homes.com, Harmon Homes, or Global Refferal Network.  Anyone have any experience with any of these, and has it lead to business in the last 2 years.  I do a pretty good business now, but as always it can be better.  I have assembled a team of agents, and now I want to give them some leads.  Where would you spend your money?

Hey David,

I used to subscribe to HouseValues.com back in 1998. I had a half of a zip code that was supposed to generate about 8-12 leads a month. If memory serves me they charged me around $800 for those leads. I did close 2 transactions from the service but soon realized that I could generate higher quality leads for less. I haven't seen the volume of advertising in my area that I used to see from house values so I don't know if they are effective at all today. i noticed that as the site grew in popularity with investors looking to get quick, FREE CMA's of the homes they were looking to buy, my actual prospect numbers started to dwindle. Because their system is/was not automated and requires you to actually do a CMA for someone that you don't even have a phone number for to follow up with, I got burned out. I hope that helps with HouseValues

David, I cannot address all of the systems you mentioned, but I do not recommend House Values.  It's expensive and the lead quality is very poor.  Don't waste your time or money...blog instead :)
