Golf Tournament ~ In Memory of John Ribar, former Sports Columnist for the Sun News ~ Now in it's 22nd Year ~ The Sun News Educational Foundation has sponsored a golf tournament to provide funding for college schloarships to area high school seniors. At this time more than $110,000 has been raised to help further the education of local outstanding students.
The 2011 golf tournament will be played at the Members Club at Grande Dunes. This is a two person team, captain's choice tournament with shot gun start at 10:00 am. All players must have a handicap. Teams will be preflighted and prizes will be awarded to the top teams in each flight. There will be other prizes awarded for other contests, including closest to the pin.
Continental breakfast and registration will begin at 9:00 am. Food will be served following the tournament. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
ENTRY FEE IS $110 PER PERSON PREPAID (WHICH INCLUDES GREEN FEES, PRACTICE BALLS, FOOD, GIFTS AND NON ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES)
