Yesterday I went on a homefinding expedition with a client that ended up showing a 1907 house (a beauty in need of some love and attention) in Coupland, Texas. It was our last house of the day, and we parted ways. As I drove back towards the highway, a block away I saw something I hadn't noticed on the way in, because I was looking for road signs. It was so intriguing that I had to stop and find out what it was.
Turns, in tiny Coupland, there's a sculpture garden. International sculptor Jim Huntington makes his home, and the home of the Huntington Scupture Foundation, in Coupland.
Walking distance from the Old Coupland Inn and Dance Hall, it's just one more reason to take the beautiful drive out to Coupland.
