Wednesday, July 20th at 1:00 PM, The Black Rock Branch Library, 2705 Fairfield Avenue presents: Food for Thought. The Black Rock Branch Library's lunchtime book club meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 1:00 PM - bring your brown bag lunch, we will provide coffee, tea and dessert. Friday, July 22nd at 1:00 PM, The Black Rock Branch Library, 2705 Fairfield Avenue presents: Resumes 101 with Sharon Carey.  Whether you need to fine tune your resume or you are starting from scratch, this is the program for you. Join Career Coach, Motivational Speaker and Corporate Trainer Sharon Carey and learn the ins and outs of writing effective resumes. Tuesday, July 26th at 6:30 PM, The Black Rock Branch Library, 2705 Fairfield Avenue presents: Meet the Author  -  Cocaineros Duel by John J. Gilmore.  Join author and former Connecticut Post reporter and editor, John Gilmore  in the brand new Black Rock Branch Reading Garden as he discusses his new novel, Cocaineros Duel - a great summer read. Learn basic interviewing techniques including what to wear, which questions to ask the interviewer, how to answer important interviewing questions, how to interview the interviewer and much more.
