While enjoying a lazy morning at home, and in the middle of sauteing spinach for my breakfast, the phone rang, and being the responsible agent I am, I turned the burner to simmer and answered the call. Much to my surprise the caller just watched a YouTube video we posted over a year ago for a listing on Calico Lake in Yermo, California. The house was leased for a year and the seller contacted me in April to say they were going to use the "Lake House" over the summer, but they wanted to list it in shortly thereafter as they will be moving to the East Coast in a year.
The photo above is the "back yard" of my client's lake house. Who wouldn't love to wake up to this scene just off their patio?
My plan was to let my clients enjoy the summer at their lakefront property, contact them early August to begin the paperwork and get a jump-start on marketing the property. That's the fabulous thing about Internet marketing--it's still out there floating around in the clouds. Today, a consumer drove past the Calico Lake community returning to the Los Angeles area from Las Vegas, Googled Calico Lake and up popped my old listing that is about to become my new listing.
Who knows if this will be the right match, but I for one, am liking the way the Universe and the Internet are aligning on this one!
