As I search through the MLS looking for properties to send to my client in Canada from Sunny South Florida, I am baffled at a phenomenon that I have seen throughout my career....listings without photos!! Are you kidding me?! Do you take this profession so lightly, that you will not even take a few photographs, in order to maximize your listing's exposure?! I am not talking about newly listed properties where the photos will be coming soon, I am talking about older and stale(due to no photos no doubt) listings. When I am sending an email to a client, and I have a wide variety of properties to choose from, how could you ever expect me to send him your listing without any pictures? Even if I decided to send your photoless listing, do you really expect my client to say "take me to that one! the mystery one with a one sentence description and no pictures!" It is difficult enough to sell a property in today's marketplace, but to be your own worst enemy and not even market a listing properly is shameful!
If you do not have the time to properly market a listing, refer it out to a colleague. Your clients, associates and your wallet will thank you!
