Okay, I'll be the first to admit the stretch of Pacific Ocean seashore I walk is no Sanibel Island, Florida seashell mecca where buckets of shells can be found on a daily basis. However, I almost always find a few shells, some sea glass and today an unusual rock captured my fancy too.
I find special delight in returning home with a few extra rewards for walking for 90 minutes along one of the most scenic coastal areas in Southern California. As if the ocean breeze, saltwater air, lapping waves and towering bluffs were not enough of a reward. I enjoy getting my cardiac, mental and spiritual therapy in a one-stop location--and what a location it is! In my opinion, it beats the heck out of the gym and I don't have to deal with OPS (other people's sweat... ;)
