Wordless Wednesday: Wispering.

Wordless Wednesday: Wispering.

Minty tendrils feathering out. Wispering. Vividly painting the desertscape. Wispering. Inquisitively seeking open space. Wispering. Tickley, twisty and twining strands. Wispering.

On an outing at Coral Canyon Golf Course, I hit the ball into the rough. I never did find it but instead came across this beautiful Desert Sage and it was wispering to me. It was, as you can see!

Happy Wednesday!

I love the color of your whispering friend. It pops against the darker greens behind it. I'm sorry to hear about your golf shot but when you get a find like this it's hard to be upset about it! :)

Wanda-That is a unique looking plant. When you say hit it into the rough, you were not kidding. That looks rough.

I agree, the color is striking against the background. Thanks for stopping by Lennar!

Harry, We live in the high desert so the colors are in constant change through the summer and then the tumbleweeds break free and scurry across the roadways.

How true that statement is Gerry! Ha-ha!

Michele, I was taken by the wispery branches and how they seemed to reach out...

Oh, that day was rough Wayne, I lost 5 balls! And I do not wander off the golf path too far in the heat...into the critters living quarters!

You're welcome Lou and I appreciate the visit!

Hi Wanda, I like the word you chose to describe this unique desert plant.  Makes me think of an unruly head of hair, or something floating with the current as it rests on the bottom of the ocean floor.

Wanda - I've never seen one of those before and I've been to Utah. It's definitely an unusual plant.

Wanda - It does indeed looks as if it is lifting it's arms up to get your attention while it tells you something.....perhaps where that golf ball went...............
