The Real Estate Zone Week 11 Was All About The US Credit Down Grade!
It didn't start out that way but very soon we were receiving call
s were our listeners were asking us what we thought would happen on Monday and if they were on the right track! We started out as we always try to and give our listeners an update as to what had happened the week before. We also try to let our listeners know how it will affect them. Very quickly we started receiving calls from our listeners wanting to know what we thought would happen on Monday as a result of the S&P down grade of the United States Federal Debt. We obviously had no idea what would happen on Monday but we did our best to try reassure our listeners that we hoped all you know what would not break loose Monday morning. But really nobody knew for sure!
One listener called that had locked in over the weekend and wanted to make sure he had done the right thing. Another listener called and just wanted to talk about what might happen and he indicated that it seemed that everyone else was on vacation that weekend. I reassured him that we were also on vacation and that this call was a figment of his imagination! Still another listener called and had a joke for us: "A homebuyer walks into a government office to apply for a home loan and the government employee said 'I am sorry sir but your credit rating is not what we need it to be' and the homebuyer said 'neither is yours!' We were all rolling in the studio!
