I will say I am pretty astute at lending and figuring out how to make difficult scenario's get resolution. So when I got a cold call to introduce me to AR I was a bit skeptical. Seriously? I was thinking. If this were any good I would know about it and be part of it, I thought. But a cold call?? OK you got me on the phone so lets see what you have to say and show me.
I was taken through AR's site and read some posts. Got introduced to the "How To's" of blogging and the tricks of the trade to help your work stand out and rank higher. I saw a world of Real Estate I had never known about. 18 years in Mortgage Lending both retail and wholesale and never knew this existed. If AR were a city it would be a decent size one all on its own... with nothing but specialists!
Upon entering Active Rain I truly had only that brief cold call intro and about a 5-10 minute tour. I liked what I saw but was not positive on how I would fit in and become a Rainmaker! I figured, hey in a month or two I will know, so whats the risk? The risk!?!? (LMAO) the risk would have been not joining and discovering a whole new world with some of the very best in their fields all sharing and helping others! If this isn't a lawyers dream (should they be looking for expert witnesses) I don't know what would... aside from the accident victim who lived and called them.
AR has to be the most unique sharing and blogging platfrom on the web! Not only are the posts good but they are so diverse and they come from those who care and share their expertise with us all. Its truly a consumers best friend, an attorney's best friend (expert witness or just to expand their knowledge in Real Estate) and those of us in real estate AR has to be one of our go to resource tools when we need to get info on something we dont know. Its only been a little over 3 months but WOW I love this place!
I am glad I got the call and glad I found AR, or AR found me! lol
