Kentlands Flower Photographs by Roy Kelley, Tuesday, 8/30/11

We had an earthquake last week and just two days ago hurricane Irene passed through Maryland on its way up the east coast.  There are still many homes without power and there is still much clean up and fix up work to do; but, mostly, we are getting back to normal. Dolores and I are grateful that there was no damage to our home in the Kentlands community in Gaithersburg.

Our neighborhood is ideal for walking and the gardens are ideal for capturing the colors of the season. The flowers are limited after the tropical storm and fall is near.  Let's enjoy the flower and the colors of summer that we have captured in photographs.

Enjoy the remaining days of summer and please share your photographs that will lift the spirits of all that view them

Roy, thank you for those flowers! And the bunny too. I think it is great to stop and smell the flowers even in tough times.

Good morning to all.  Cool morning with brightly shining stars for my early walk through Kentlands and Lakelands.  Another perfect day in Montgomery County, MD for home buyers to take advantage of the attractive prices and the very low mortgage interest rates.

Good Morning Roy,

I just love how that littly bunny hopped in between the flowers - just like in real life! Always expect the unexpected.

Life is beautiful when there's flowers and wildlife. Unexpected surprises keeps us on our toes.

All the best to you and Dolores. I'm sure glad you weathered the storm. You were in my prayers.

Hi Roy~ How'd that bunny sneak into the garden? That was a fun surprise. Looking at the colors Mother Nature chooses for her flowers makes interior design color combinations easy for me to see.

Best regards from Seattle,
