Growing-up, and then later raising a family in the Lincoln-Way Community High School District of Chicagoland, it was our (and many others) annual ritual to make a trek to the Fall Festival held in Frankfort, IL over Labor Day weekend. It sortof "kicked-off" the school year and was a great place to meet friends and have fun.
This year's Fall Festival is the 43rd Annual hosting of this event. And Frankfort's expecting another great influx of visitors ... over 200,000 of them.
Held in the historic downtown area of Frankfort, this Frankfort Chamber-sponsored event has plenty to offer its' many visitors. From the carnival, to the renowned craft fair showcasing over 300 artisans from 30 different states, to the parade, to the entertainment, beer tent, and more, there's something for everyone of every age to enjoy.

The Parade kicks-off at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 4th, from the corner of Ash and Nebraska Streets. This year's Grand Marshall will be Lincoln-Way High School District Superintendent, Dr. Lawrence Wyllie. Each of the high school district's bands will perform in the parade.
