Labor Day is often seen as the end of summer and that last finally holiday weekend before heading into the fall season. However, for many Los Angelians, going away for the weekend simply isn’t in the plans or budget.

What better way to spend the last weekend of the summer than in Malibu. This marks the 30th year for this epic event. The event offers rides, games and entertainment. There will also be a drawing for a 2011 Mercedes Benz C-Class… only 999 tickets will be sold.
Other items are also being offered at the silent auction, which will feature autographed memorabilia donated by many local professional athletes and celebrities, who quite often are on hand or make appearances.
The event is being held Sept 2nd - 5th at the Malibu Knolls at 23789 Stuart Ranch Rd. (at Civic Center Way). Parking is available at the Malibu Civic Center. HOLLYWOOD - Totally 80’s @ The Bowl
Back by popular demand, on Sept 2nd, the Hollywood Bowl rewinds for another awesome celebration of the best era of pop music ever – the 80’s! Performances by 80’s icons The Human League, The B-52’s, The Fixx and Berlin has never sounded so totally rad!

MARINA DEL REY – Labor Day Yacht Party & BBQ
One of SoCA’s fave events for the past nine years, this mini-cruise on the Fantasea One mega-yacht will be setting sail from Marina del Rey on Monday Sept 5th. There will be DJs, dancing, karaoke, games, BBQ and cabanas on all four decks of the ship.
