Its Official The New VA Funding Fees Will Go Into Effect on October 1st, and below are the new charts.

VA is an excellent benefit that is given to the men and women who have served our country in time of war, and this change makes it an even more attractive Mortgage Program for them. Those of us in the Real Estate and Lending Industries need to make sure that our service men and women are aware of this program and encourage those that qualify for it to utilize it when purchasing a home.

NOTE: As you can see the Funding Fee will changed for purchase loans, but will remain the same for Refinances.

I think the VA loans are very good for veterans. Unfortunately, unlike FHA, RD and Conventional loans, they do no allow the buyer to pay any part of the BA fee... It is important for vets to have representation if they want it and in our area sometimes the co-broke fees are so low that that the vet can't get representation.
