Who Can Finance Unrestricted Land Over 10 Acres?

I am having a real problem finding financing for a cliet of mine that fell in love with a piece of land that is unrestricted and 13 acres. After taking a while to find the perfect piece of land, now we are being turned down by one bank because it is over 10 acres, the other lenders say they can't finance it because it is unrestricted. Do you have a lender that you can recommend? I have already tried Bank of America, Capital One, Woodforest National Bank and Capital Farm Credit.

Hi Liz, Try a private investor if the banks don't want your business. You may have to pay higher interest but you can get the loan at least.
