Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge;  Ma-le’l Dunes Unit Grand Opening!

Saturday, October 15th, 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.

Meet at the Bureau of Land Management Ma-le’l Dunes South Parking Area off of Young Lane in Manila and shuttle, walk or bicycle .7 miles north.

Shuttles will run 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 and 3:00 to 4:00.

A brief program will begin at 1:45.

The day will include music, light refreshments, informative displays and fun, educational activities for all ages including guided walks beginning at 2:15 p.m.

This will be your opportunity to visit the newest addition to the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge!

A walk into the wildlife refuge sounds like a really great adventure and a good time to have your camera ready for soome good pictures. Another of your events I wish I could attend. I missed this blog first time around.
