As I look back over my journey here in Active Rain, it has truly been a miracle that I decided to join in January 2011. If someone had of told be back then that I would be where I am today in Active Rain, I would told them that they must be kidding. No way would I be the leading Newbie for the year 2011, number 60 in the state of Texas, and #6 presently in San Antonio, TX. Nor would I believe that I could have posted 318 posts, and have 169 subscribers, and a host of friends and associates, whom I have come to know as my friends and Active Rain networking buddies.
It all began when I received that phone call from Cindy in Indy asking me if I would like to join their new Mastermind Group in Active Rain. They needed a Newbie on the team, and as far as I was concern, that was a miracle to be selected out of all the other new members that had joined that month too. I am not sure what it was about me that got Bill and Liz Spear’s attention to point me out to Cindy in Indy, who was the Captain of the Mastermind Team, bRain Power. But a lot of great things started to come by way.
All I know is that first night that I joined, I added my photo, a brief resume, a few testimonies, and posted my first blog on my very first night in Active Rain. I looked up and I had 2,000 points in one day, and that was just amazing to me. But, after looking at all the points that the other team members had, I knew that I was the rookie on the team, and needed to learn quickly. I was surrounded by blogging giants, and they were all willing to coach me and answer all of my questions. Believe me, I had a ton of questions like any Newbie would have. I knew I was truly BLESSED, and Living the Dream of becoming an avid blogger.Charita Cadenhead told me that I came along at the right time, and I could tell early on that Charita was right. Thanks to my blogging efforts and my faith, my life’s journey in Active Rain has truly been a miracle, and I will never be the same as I was before I joined this wonderful professional networking community.
Miracles happen everyday if you will just look around and notice nature. Life itself is a miracle, and I am truly grateful and blessed to have come this far in life. I believe the greatest miracle of all time is the Gift of Eternal Life with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am thankful to have this opportunity to share my brief story for the POSITIVE ATTITUDE for the Weary Soul Group with this Fall Season of Miracles Contest. I have always supported good morals, values, and a strong belief in our Creator and Master.
